Rightaway Farm

WELCOME TO Rightaway Farm!

Named after the rail road track that runs along the southern perimeter and has the right of way to the property, the sixty five acre farm is located between Versailles and Lawrenceburg in Woodford county Kentucky. Used primarily as a spring station for Harvey and Nancy Vanier's mares and their Illinois client's mares. Each mare is teased and brought into season then taken to the many stallion farms in the area. After breeding and ensuring mares are in foal a majority are shipped back to Fairberry Farm to foal and obtain Illinois bred status. During the summer months Rightaway Farm takes the overflow of lay-ups from Fairberry Farm.

Rich Main, farm manager, is responsible for teasing the mares, booking the mares to the shed, transporting mares to the many farms in the area and working with the veterinarian to ensure the mares are in foal. During the breeding season
